Your guide pick you up at 10 pm at your hotel in Bukittinggi and you drive with car to Koto Baru. From there you start climbing the vulcano Gunung Merapi. You need a bit of condition, because you climb up 5 - 6 hours. After breakfast on the top, refilling you with energy, you are able to enjoy the wonderful sunrise and the few. Relax on the top before you walk down about 4 hours again.On the way back to Bukittinggi you stop for typical "Padang Food". About 1-2 pm you will be back in Bukittinggi.

Start after breakfast. Your guide pick you up at your hotel at 9 am. You drive with a car for 10 minutes to the canyon. There you start your trekking adventure. First along the canyon, then you will pass ricefields, coffee and chilli plantations. Your guide will explain you a lot about the life and the traditions there. For sure water buffalos and monkeys will cross your way. After 4 hours walking you reach Matur village. From there a minibus drives you in 15 minutes to Lawang Top. From Lawang Top you are walking trough the forest about 45 minutes until you reach Annas homestay. Located in the forest you have a great few of the lake Maninjau. You are getting served a traditinal indonesian dinner and stay overnight in Annas homestay. Next morning after breakfast your guide will bring you down to lake.
