The shortest trek we offer. Start after breakfast. Your guide pick you up at your hotel, and you go trekking for 3 hours in the Gunung Leuser National park. Even there is not enough time to go deeper in the jungle, with a little luck you will see orangutans and other monkeys. Your guide will tell you a lot about the jungle, medical plants and the orangutans. Return to Bukit Lawang by lunchtime.

2 days Trek / 1 night in the jungle
Overnight in the junglecamp !
One night in the jungle is a very special adventure. For all, who have a little bit time we recommend this Trek, which certanly remains
unforgetable. The magic of the jungle, the noisis in the evening and in the morning, a fantastic experience. Your guide pick you up at your hotel
around 8.30 and it goes into the Gunung Leuser Nationalpark. You are trekking for 6-7 hours up and down the
hills, see orangutans other monkeys and animals and your guide explain you a lot. There is time for regular breaks and you are having lunch in the jungle. About
4 pm you arrive at the junglecamp, where our assistents allready preparing tee and coffee. Now it´s time to relax! Swimming in the river and enjoy before getting served a
traditional indonesian dinner. After dinner you can sit around the bonefire,be amazed at your guids card tricks and laugh a lot together. At the second day there is the possibility hiking more
for 2-3 hours, walking to the waterfall or just relax at the camp. . After lunch you come back to Bukit Lawang by rafting.

Deeper in the jungle !
For this trek you need more condition because you are trekking 2 whole days in the national park. You are camping at two different campsides beside the river or close to a waterfall. So you go deeper in the national park and there is the possibility to see more wild life like wild orangutans, gibbons or the peacock. Day 3 you can decide either trekking more for 2-3 hours or just relax at the camp. After lunch you come back to Bukit Lawang by rafting.

5 days Trek / 4 nights in the jungle
5 days trekking in the Gunung Leuser Nationalpark is a real jungle adventure ! For this trek you need really good condition, because every day you walk for several hours to the next campside.
1. day ca. 6-7 hours, camping at Bohorok River.
2. day ca. 5-6 hours, camping at a small river, close to a waterfall with a fantastic swimmingspot .
3. day ca.3 hours in the jungle and then 3 hours along the Landak River until Uning. There is a waterhole for wild animals to drink, so the chance is good for experience wildlife. You camp close to the waterhole.
4. day will be exhausting again, steep up and down the hill until the area of wild elephants. With luck you can see wild elephants there. Camping at the Bohorok river.
5. day no more walking again. Rafting back to Bukit Lawang about 2 - 2,5 hours.
